The carrier delivering your order will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time.
Ask for the company's phone number in case you need to change the delivery time. It is required that someone be available to sign for your order.
Customer is responsible for unloading shipping.
Delivery is "to the curb," not "to the door." Curb delivery means that you must remove your order from the rear of the truck, and in most cases, the rear of the truck is approximately 48" off the ground. You must arrange to have extra helpers available if needed. Truck freight companies do not require their drivers to unload shipments, and drivers may not be able to help even if they would like due to contract restrictions. Also, the driver cannot assist you in moving the item into your home; you must make your own arrangements to move the item from the curb to its final location.
If a Loading Dock is not available and you are not able to arrange for extra help to remove the item from the truck, it is recommended that you order lift gate service to help remove the item from the truck.
There is an additional charge for lift-gate service.
Our offer of No Charge for Shipping does not include delivery by a truck with a lift gate. These Tool Chest/Cabinet Combos are extremely heavy; upwards of 200 to 600 pounds. If you are unable to remove this much weight from the rear of the truck, you may order the lift-gate service option. The price on this charge can range from $45 to over $150. Call us for a quote on this service, and we can add it to your order.
After your order has been received at the factory, you will receive a confirmation letter.
